Zyte is looking for an Account Executive - Outbound to drive new business acquisition and top-line revenue growth by winning business in net new accounts. You'll join a globally distributed team focused on providing customers a smooth pathway to data.
What You'll Do
- Generate appointments via email, phone, social media, and networking to qualify and market Zyte solutions.
- Proactively contact strategically important prospects to create opportunities and win business.
- Use strong selling and influencing skills to gain customer commitment and close deals.
- Provide prompt follow-up to all Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and properly document and track results.
- Qualify customers with detailed questioning and score them internally on their likelihood to convert.
- Effectively forecast your new business pipeline using expert knowledge of Zyte’s Sales Methodology.
- Log, track, and maintain customer contact records, updating the CRM system to a high standard.
- Physically attend customer meetings and conferences where required.
- Work closely with the Demand Generation team, providing feedback on lead quality and conversion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in an Outbound sales role.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas.
- Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and demanding targets.
- Strong deal closing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High level of analytical and organisational skills, and excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a SaaS / PaaS Account Management or Sales position, specifically selling to Enterprise accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and initiative combined with commercial awareness.
- Demonstrated experience using sales analytics and funnel management techniques to drive productivity and ensure pipeline visibility for forecasting and business planning.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of data harvesting / web crawling.
Team & Environment
You will join a team consisting of a Sales Manager, an Account Executive, a Business Development Rep (BDR), and a Solutions Architect (SA). You will work in a team led by a Sales Manager, reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
