About the Role
The Account Executive is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure client success and retention.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mid-market segment
- Conduct outreach through calls, emails, and social platforms to engage prospects
- Lead discovery calls and product demonstrations for potential clients
- Manage a high-volume pipeline of sales opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed quotas
- Collaborate with marketing to refine lead-generation strategies
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM systems
- Gather customer feedback to inform product and service improvements
- Work closely with customer success teams during onboarding
- Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape
- Deliver quarterly business reviews to key accounts
- Develop and execute account plans for strategic prospects
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries in a timely manner
- Participate in sales forecasting and reporting cycles
- Support partnership initiatives with aligned technology providers
- Represent the company at virtual and select in-person events
- Use data to prioritize high-potential prospects
- Follow up on trial signups to convert into paid customers
- Advocate for customer needs internally
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features and updates
