About the Role
The Account Executive will identify, onboard, and support local businesses to grow their presence on a digital platform while achieving sales targets and maintaining high merchant satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and secure new merchant partnerships through outreach and relationship-building
- Onboard new business partners and guide them through platform integration
- Educate merchants on platform tools, analytics, and promotional strategies
- Monitor merchant performance and recommend optimizations
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve merchant issues
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Negotiate partnership terms and contractual agreements
- Track and report on sales metrics and performance goals
- Ensure merchant satisfaction through ongoing support
- Analyze market trends to identify high-potential business categories
- Conduct regular check-ins with partners to assess needs
- Drive adoption of platform features to increase merchant success
- Represent the platform at local business events and networking forums
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive offerings
- Develop tailored strategies for key accounts
- Gather merchant feedback to inform product improvements
- Manage contract renewals and upsell opportunities
- Ensure compliance with partnership guidelines and policies
- Support marketing initiatives in coordination with merchant goals
- Use CRM tools to manage sales pipelines and forecasts
- Respond promptly to merchant inquiries and escalations
- Stay aligned with regional sales objectives
- Promote long-term merchant retention and engagement
- Adapt outreach strategies based on performance data
