About the Role

The Account Executive will identify, onboard, and support local businesses to grow their presence on a digital platform while achieving sales targets and maintaining high merchant satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and secure new merchant partnerships through outreach and relationship-building
  • Onboard new business partners and guide them through platform integration
  • Educate merchants on platform tools, analytics, and promotional strategies
  • Monitor merchant performance and recommend optimizations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve merchant issues
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
  • Negotiate partnership terms and contractual agreements
  • Track and report on sales metrics and performance goals
  • Ensure merchant satisfaction through ongoing support
  • Analyze market trends to identify high-potential business categories
  • Conduct regular check-ins with partners to assess needs
  • Drive adoption of platform features to increase merchant success
  • Represent the platform at local business events and networking forums
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive offerings
  • Develop tailored strategies for key accounts
  • Gather merchant feedback to inform product improvements
  • Manage contract renewals and upsell opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with partnership guidelines and policies
  • Support marketing initiatives in coordination with merchant goals
  • Use CRM tools to manage sales pipelines and forecasts
  • Respond promptly to merchant inquiries and escalations
  • Stay aligned with regional sales objectives
