Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, including outbound activity, demos, proposals, and negotiations
- Build and manage a strong pipeline across multiple industries (SMB, enterprise, education, hospitality, retail, and more)
- Drive adoption of the UniFi platform across networking, Wi-Fi, switching, surveillance, and access control
- Develop and grow relationships with distributors, system integrators, resellers, and MSP partners
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations showcasing UniFi’s unified management, performance, and cost advantages
- Work closely with technical teams to support solution design and successful deployments
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers modernizing infrastructure without recurring licensing costs
- Provide feedback from the Japan market to inform product development and regional strategy
- Travel as needed for customer meetings, partner engagement, and events
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role
- Experience in networking, IT infrastructure, ISP, or physical security solutions is highly desirable
- Native-level Japanese
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong presentation and demo skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts
- Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong reliance on AI tools, LLMs, and automation to drive productivity and scale technical output
