About the Role
This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new enterprise sales opportunities in the Washington DC region. The ideal candidate will leverage deep industry knowledge and a consultative approach to build trusted relationships with key decision-makers and expand market presence.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the enterprise sector
- Develop relationships with C-suite and IT leadership in target organizations
- Conduct strategic sales calls and product demonstrations tailored to client needs
- Create and deliver compelling proposals and presentations
- Collaborate with pre-sales teams to align technical solutions with business requirements
- Manage complex sales cycles from initial contact to contract closing
- Forecast sales activity and revenue accurately on a regular basis
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and market trends
- Work closely with channel partners to expand reach and close deals
- Navigate large organizations to identify key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Address objections and provide solutions to advance the sales process
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
- Utilize CRM tools to track interactions and manage pipeline
- Stay informed about competitive landscape and adjust strategies accordingly
- Support marketing initiatives through customer referrals and event participation
- Ensure smooth handoff to customer success teams post-sale
- Participate in regional sales meetings and training sessions
- Build long-term client relationships to encourage expansion and renewals
- Present at industry events or webinars when required
- Align sales approach with compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to enterprise clients
