About the Role

This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new enterprise sales opportunities in the Washington DC region. The ideal candidate will leverage deep industry knowledge and a consultative approach to build trusted relationships with key decision-makers and expand market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the enterprise sector
  • Develop relationships with C-suite and IT leadership in target organizations
  • Conduct strategic sales calls and product demonstrations tailored to client needs
  • Create and deliver compelling proposals and presentations
  • Collaborate with pre-sales teams to align technical solutions with business requirements
  • Manage complex sales cycles from initial contact to contract closing
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue accurately on a regular basis
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and market trends
  • Work closely with channel partners to expand reach and close deals
  • Navigate large organizations to identify key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Address objections and provide solutions to advance the sales process
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Utilize CRM tools to track interactions and manage pipeline
  • Stay informed about competitive landscape and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Support marketing initiatives through customer referrals and event participation
  • Ensure smooth handoff to customer success teams post-sale
  • Participate in regional sales meetings and training sessions
  • Build long-term client relationships to encourage expansion and renewals
  • Present at industry events or webinars when required
  • Align sales approach with compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to enterprise clients
