Workday is hiring an Account Executive - Customer Base to join our Enterprise Sales team. In this role, you will develop and maintain relationships with our existing Medium Enterprise customers, focusing on upselling and securing renewal business through strategic deal management.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, focusing on upselling via deal management.
- Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
- Drive strategic add-on and renewal business of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise customers.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams such as pre-sales, digital, value & bid-management, marketing, and technical sales support.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP, HCM, Financial, Planning, or Analytics solutions to C-level executives from a field sales position.
- 4+ years experience negotiating deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities.
- 4+ years experience building relationships with existing customers for add-on or incremental business.
- 4+ years experience in developing long-term account strategies with existing customers.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing longer deal cycles beyond 6 months, with large deal sizes.
- Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape and industry trends to effectively position Workday solutions.
- Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
