The Account Executive will lead the development and execution of sales strategies focused on acquiring new clients within the cybersecurity, IT services, and business intelligence sectors. This role centers on identifying high-potential opportunities, engaging key decision-makers, and guiding prospects through a consultative sales process to close new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage a strategic sales plan to consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets
- Identify and pursue new leads using insights into market trends and client needs
- Engage with stakeholders up to the C-level, understanding their business objectives and aligning them with tailored technology solutions
- Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and responses to RFPs that clearly articulate value
- Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM records to ensure visibility into pipeline health
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to co-develop market strategies and expand revenue opportunities
- Convert project-based engagements into recurring revenue models through strategic cross-selling
- Analyze sales performance metrics to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must bring at least five years of B2B sales experience in technology, with a focus on cybersecurity, SaaS, cloud services, or data analytics. A proven ability to sell complex solutions and build trust with technical and executive audiences is essential. Strong analytical thinking, CRM proficiency, and experience with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or Value Selling are highly valued.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate operates independently, maintains rigorous organization, and thrives in a fast-moving, remote-friendly environment.
