About the Role

NBCUniversal is hiring an Account Executive to generate new cross-platform advertising revenue through integrated sponsorships on NBC Sports Bay Area and California, NBC Bay Area (KNTV), and Telemundo (KSTS). You will play a key role in achieving sales goals by focusing on business development across Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.

What You'll Do

  • Generate new cross-platform ad sales revenue through integrated, multi-platform sponsorships.
  • Sell a Cross-Platform portfolio featuring NBC Spot On, an OTT CTV solution with exclusive NBC content available on Peacock.
  • Sell a Sports portfolio with over 600 live events on Linear and Streaming platforms, including teams like the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Giants, Oakland A’s, San Jose Sharks, San Jose Earthquakes, and Sacramento Kings.
  • Focus on business-development revenue in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.
  • Use strong storytelling from a marketer’s perspective, understanding brand initiatives and how platforms deliver against KPIs.
  • Achieve quarterly and yearly linear and cross-platform sales goals.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5+ years experience in direct sales.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to develop relationships with clients and co-workers.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Embraces social media and technology.
  • Must be willing to work in San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

Nice to Have

  • Digital sales experience, with emphasis on OTT, digital video, social, and podcasts.
  • Strong business-development track record.
  • Ability to sell conceptually to direct clients.
  • Comfortable using and selling new media.
  • Passionate about sports and local teams.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: $90,000 - $150,000 base salary plus SIC bonus.
  • Company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.

Work Mode

This is a hybrid position based in either San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA.
