BillionToOne is hiring a Prenatal Account Executive for South Michigan (Kalamazoo). This field sales position is responsible for introducing the first and only single-gene NIPT supported carrier and aneuploidy screen to OBGYN clinics & MFM practices. You will deliver clinical information, influence test communication, and report directly to a Regional Manager - Prenatal.
What You'll Do
- Increase utilization of the UNITY Fetal Risk Screen and drive market development through direct sales to individual OBGYNs, MFMs, and Genetic Counselors.
- Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other key healthcare professionals.
- Prospect and cultivate new business while maintaining key relationships.
- Identify and capitalize on commercial growth opportunities within your region, focusing on OBGYN, MFM, and GC clinics, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
- Create and implement a strategic business plan to grow utilization quickly in your geography.
- Manage the full lifecycle of the product sales process, including new business development and lead generation.
- Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of three (3) years of outside field sales experience within the healthcare sector, directly calling upon providers in a specified geographic territory.
- Demonstrated successful sales track record, understanding of buyer types, and effective selling, listening, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to present effectively to internal and external customers.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- A sense of urgency and focus on closing business.
- Ability to assess the needs of medical professionals with a focus on consultative sales, logistics coordination, and problem-solving.
- Strong desire to work in a startup environment and the ability to work independently.
- Working knowledge and application of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics surrounding patient information.
- Demonstrated values and ethics that support BillionToOne's mission, goals, and professional code of conduct.
- Ability to use discretion and professionalism when handling patient and physician information.

This is a field sales position reporting to a Regional Manager - Prenatal.
