As an Account Executive, you will drive new business by leading the entire sales journey—from initial discovery to successful close. You'll engage with nonprofit leaders, understand their unique goals and challenges, and deliver personalized demonstrations that align with their fundraising objectives. Your role is central to expanding platform adoption through consultative selling and strategic relationship-building.
What You'll Do
- Manage inbound and outbound opportunities, guiding prospects through every stage of the sales process
- Conduct insightful discovery calls with executives, founders, and development teams to uncover key needs and decision criteria
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations that speak directly to each organization’s mission and operational model
- Build and maintain a consistent, well-documented pipeline with accurate forecasting and follow-through
- Negotiate terms and pricing while safeguarding company interests and ensuring customer value
- Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to refine lead quality and improve handoff efficiency
- Partner with Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term satisfaction
- Share market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence with Product and Marketing teams
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of proven success in SaaS, Fintech, or subscription-based sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Experience managing both inbound and outbound sales processes with measurable results
- Strong ability to uncover customer needs through consultative questioning and active listening
- Skilled in communicating clearly and persuasively across phone, email, and video platforms
- Comfort engaging with C-suite leaders, board members, and senior staff at nonprofit organizations
- Proven track record of managing multiple deals simultaneously with precision and urgency
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement tools such as HubSpot, Zoom, Notion, and Gong
- Disciplined approach to pipeline management and data accuracy
- Self-driven with a strong sense of accountability and initiative
- Adaptable in a fast-moving, evolving environment with shifting priorities
- Willingness to travel up to 5% for industry events, conferences, and in-person meetings when feasible
