Adyen is looking for an Account Executive to sell digital transformation to companies in the chemical industry that have operated the same way for decades. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals and driving expansion, acting as an advisor and advocate to executive-level decision makers.
What You'll Do
- Sell digital transformation to companies with 50+ years of industry inertia.
- Navigate 6-12 month sales cycles with executive-level decision makers.
- Prove the platform delivers tens of millions in ROI.
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, contract negotiation, closing, and expansion.
- Act as the customer's advisor, advocate, and change agent.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in enterprise sales navigating complex organizations and buying processes.
- A strong desire to learn, grow, and develop.
- Grit, creativity, and an ownership mentality.
- Ability to build deep relationships through multi-threading and land executive-level engagement.
- Teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Education or experience in the sciences or a highly technical field.
- Experience selling complex software or transformation projects.
