Job Title: Federal Accounting Analyst Duration: 3+ Months Location: Arlington, VA The Accounting Analyst will serve as a member of a large project team and will support the client's financial improvement and audit compliance goals through a variety of work streams. The team member will be required to possess and/or build a working knowledge of financial management and logistics business processes to support our client in achieving financially sound, improved business processes. Minimum Requirements: •Bachelor's degree in Accounting •Minimum 1 internship in an accounting related field, such as tax accounting, auditing, or accounting consulting •CPA Candidate Preferred Requirements: •Self-driven, willingness to learn, and able to develop relationships with client personnel •Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member •Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills •Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills •Good understanding of auditing procedures or audit readiness activities •Basic understanding of DoD property (asset) management and valuation •Working knowledge of GAAP, GAGAs Yellow Book audit standards. •General understanding of accounting system processing and interfaces, specifically ERP systems •Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member •Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian •Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian Role Skills: •Accounting & Financial Reporting Standards(P2 - Proficient) •Written Communication (P2 - Proficient) •Accenture Audit and Compliance Tool (P1 - Novice) Clearance: US Citizens only for NACI or ACTIVE SECRET CLEARENCE.
