Cleveland Clinic Health System is hiring an Access Optimization Analyst II

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of EPIC access initiatives, including gathering stakeholder feedback and forecasting resource needs.
  • Oversee integration of physician practices into front-end EPIC platforms, covering discovery, design, testing, deployment, and optimization phases.
  • Evaluate operational workflow impacts, assess feasibility of change requests, and ensure compliance with established system design standards.
  • Drive internal communication strategies to promote consistent EPIC design and continuous access improvement.
  • Sustain strong working relationships between IT teams and application end-users.
  • Manage change control processes and evaluate potential effects of proposed system modifications.
  • Confirm approval from designated gatekeepers and verify implementation accuracy of changes in live environments.
  • Ensure correctness of decision support tools such as questionnaires and decision trees post-implementation.
  • Direct testing and validation activities for EPIC system functionality.
  • Prioritize incoming requests based on urgency, time demands, project limitations, user productivity, and training requirements.
  • Advise on best practices and actively explore emerging system features and technological enhancements.
  • Manage full project lifecycles from initiation through to completion.
  • Examine process flows and suggest improvements to reduce steps and enhance efficiency using technology.
  • Coordinate planning, scheduling, and oversight of multiple concurrent projects.
