Responsibilities

  • Establish and uphold a clear vision for school culture by developing and sustaining campus-wide systems that promote positive student relationships, consistent behavior management, and effective classroom routines.
  • Ensure all teaching staff are skilled in fostering student engagement and address misbehavior with consistency, providing coaching to strengthen these competencies across the faculty.
  • Lead the development of instructional systems that support deep content mastery, high-quality teaching, and data analysis to inform targeted academic interventions and improve student outcomes.
  • Coach instructional leaders to refine teaching practices and drive continuous improvement through data-informed strategies and academic support systems.
  • Develop and maintain efficient operational systems to ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-managed campus environment.
  • Guide the assistant principal of operations in achieving enrollment and attendance targets while building their leadership and management capabilities.
  • Design and implement comprehensive family engagement strategies, including onboarding new families and maintaining regular communication about student progress and school activities.
  • Ensure families are active partners in their child's education through structured outreach and engagement systems led by trained staff.
  • Make strategic decisions regarding staff hiring, development, and advancement to build a high-performing team aligned with campus goals.
  • Foster a positive staff culture through strong coaching, accountability systems, and leadership development across all levels of the campus team.
  • Oversee the strategic allocation of campus discretionary funds to support academic and operational priorities in collaboration with operations and administrative staff.
  • Monitor budget execution throughout the year and guide the assistant principal of operations in meeting financial targets.
  • Ensure full compliance with all legal and policy requirements by completing required training and establishing systems to maintain campus-wide adherence.
  • Develop compliance systems for staff and campus operations, and coach leaders to sustain these practices across teams.
  • Lead the implementation of special education and support programs, ensuring students with IEPs, 504s, and language needs receive appropriate services.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for special programs through structured systems and oversight.
  • Design and manage data systems that enable school-wide data collection, analysis, and action to inform strategic decisions.
  • Support data-driven planning and execution across academic and operational functions to improve student outcomes.
  • Supervise the campus leadership team, including assistant principals, college counseling director, and administrative support staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by organizational needs.
