Pennsylvania State University is hiring an Academic Program Coordinator to provide intermediate support for the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. In this role, you will assist the Computer Science Undergraduate Coordinator and share responsibilities for a population of over 1,500 EECS undergraduates.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for undergraduate needs and handle routine phone and email correspondence with students, families, and businesses.
- Conduct degree audits, assist with semester graduation lists, and process student petitions.
- Schedule and reserve classrooms.
- Enter grades and co-op reports.
- Schedule and reschedule exams, including coordinating evening exams with faculty.
- Perform routine office duties, including correspondence, filing, copying, shredding, maintaining materials, and scheduling appointments.
- Assist with organizing promotional events like Summer Camp and high school visits.
What We're Looking For
- A General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School diploma.
- 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Team & Environment
You will report to and support the Computer Science Undergraduate Coordinator and share duties with another Academic Program Coordinator.
