Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans, adapting them as needed throughout the academic year
- Adjust teaching methods to support diverse learning needs of all students
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply research-backed instructional strategies in daily lesson planning and classroom delivery
- Maintain a structured and respectful classroom environment through effective behavior management
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere conducive to learning
- Use curricula approved by the school that reflect students' varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Uphold school-wide behavioral and cultural expectations consistently
- Engage with families through regular communication about students’ academic and emotional development
- Integrate technology into instruction to enhance student learning
- Support the organization of non-instructional school activities when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff through regular communication
- Complete additional duties as determined by school administration
Compensation
The salary range is $44,000 to $53,500, with variation based on location, qualifications, experience, and education. Compensation: The salary range for this position is $44,000 - 53,500.
