Responsibilities

  • Design and implement lesson plans, adapting them as needed throughout the academic year
  • Adjust teaching methods to support diverse learning needs of all students
  • Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
  • Apply research-backed instructional strategies in daily lesson planning and classroom delivery
  • Maintain a structured and respectful classroom environment through effective behavior management
  • Foster an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere conducive to learning
  • Use curricula approved by the school that reflect students' varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
  • Uphold school-wide behavioral and cultural expectations consistently
  • Engage with families through regular communication about students’ academic and emotional development
  • Integrate technology into instruction to enhance student learning
  • Support the organization of non-instructional school activities when required
  • Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff through regular communication
  • Complete additional duties as determined by school administration

Compensation

The salary range is $44,000 to $53,500, with variation based on location, qualifications, experience, and education. Compensation: The salary range for this position is $44,000 - 53,500.
