Responsibilities
- Develop and adapt lesson plans throughout the academic year as needed
- Adjust teaching methods to support diverse student learning needs
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply instructional strategies grounded in educational research
- Maintain appropriate student conduct and engagement in the classroom
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Use curricula that acknowledge and reflect students’ varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Enforce established behavioral and cultural standards across the school
- Engage with families to discuss student academic performance and emotional well-being
- Integrate technology into instruction to enhance student learning
- Support non-instructional school activities when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional tasks as directed by school administration
