Responsibilities
- Develop and adapt lesson plans throughout the academic year to meet evolving classroom needs
- Adjust teaching methods to support varied learning styles and student abilities
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic and developmental progress
- Apply instructional strategies grounded in educational research during planning and teaching
- Maintain appropriate student conduct and engagement within the classroom setting
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere conducive to student learning
- Use curricula approved by the school that reflect students' diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Enforce consistent school-wide behavioral and cultural expectations
- Engage with families to discuss student progress in both academic and social-emotional domains
- Integrate digital tools and technology into daily instruction to enhance learning outcomes
- Support the organization and execution of non-instructional school activities when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff through clear communication
- Complete additional responsibilities as determined by school administration
