Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans with flexibility to adapt throughout the academic year
- Adjust teaching methods to support diverse learning needs of all students
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply research-supported instructional strategies in daily classroom planning and teaching
- Maintain appropriate student conduct and classroom discipline
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere
- Use approved curricula that reflect students’ varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Support and uphold school-wide behavioral and cultural standards
- Engage with families through regular communication and meetings about student progress
- Integrate technology into instruction to enhance student learning
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-instructional school activities when necessary
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional tasks as required by school administration
