Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans with flexibility for adjustments throughout the academic year
- Adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning needs of all students
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply research-backed instructional strategies in daily lesson planning and classroom delivery
- Maintain appropriate student conduct and classroom discipline
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere
- Use approved curricula that honor students' varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Enforce established school-wide behavioral and cultural standards
- Engage with families through regular communication about student academic and emotional growth
- Integrate technology tools into instruction to enhance student learning
- Support non-academic school events and activities as required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional duties as determined by school leadership
