Responsibilities

  • Design and adapt lesson plans throughout the academic year to support student learning
  • Adjust teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of all students
  • Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
  • Apply research-supported instructional strategies in daily classroom activities
  • Oversee and guide student behavior to maintain a productive learning environment
  • Foster an engaging and positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
  • Use school-approved curricula that honor students' varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
  • Enforce consistent school-wide behavioral and cultural expectations
  • Engage with families to discuss student academic performance and social-emotional growth
  • Integrate technology into instruction to enhance student learning experiences
  • Support the organization of non-instructional school events as required
  • Work collaboratively and communicate clearly with fellow educators and staff
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by school administration

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $42,000-51,500. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
