Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans with flexibility to adapt throughout the academic year
- Adjust teaching strategies to address varied student learning needs
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic and developmental progress
- Apply instructional methods supported by educational research in daily classroom activities
- Establish and maintain appropriate student conduct and discipline
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
- Use approved curricula that reflect student diversity in culture, language, and education
- Support and uphold school-wide behavioral and cultural standards
- Engage with families to discuss student academic and personal development
- Integrate digital tools and technology to enhance student learning experiences
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-academic school activities when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff through clear communication
- Complete additional tasks as directed by school administration
