The Hartford is looking for an Inbound Sales Center Insurance Agent to join our Personal Lines team. You will directly help customers by providing insurance recommendations, quotes, and issuing policies. What You'll Do
- Manage an average of 30 plus inbound calls per day, focusing on quality customer interactions and sales execution.
- Provide insurance recommendations, quotes, and issue policies.
- Utilize active listening and critical thinking skills to quickly analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Achieve standards for success by completing daily assignments, including reading materials, online courses, role plays, exams, and general activities.
- Adhere to The Hartford's employment policies and procedures, including attendance and professionalism.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of recent sales experience and comfort with negotiating and overcoming objections.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling an average of 30-40 inbound calls per day.
- Capability to maintain all state licenses and terminate prior carrier relationships as applicable.
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A distraction-free environment is essential for this customer-facing role.
- High-speed broadband cable internet service with minimum upload/download speeds of 300MB download/30MB upload, hard-wired to the Hartford-issued router and/or computer.
- Candidates must be able to obtain a Personal Lines Insurance License during the licensing training timeframe.
Nice to Have
- Sales experience in Insurance, Retail, Banking highly preferred.
- Inbound sales experience is a plus.
- Bilingual Spanish-English skillset is a plus.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $46,222 - $69,333
- 15 weeks of paid training, including preparation and sponsorship for your Property and Casualty Personal Lines insurance exam.
- Potential to earn lucrative rewards, including monthly, quarterly, and annual pay-outs along with sales incentives and contests.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position located in Hartford, CT or San Antonio, TX. This role has a start date of May 18.
