Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans with flexibility for adjustments throughout the academic year
- Adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning needs of all students
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply instructional strategies grounded in educational research to daily teaching and planning
- Enforce consistent classroom behavior management practices
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
- Use approved curricula that reflect the varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds of students
- Support and uphold school-wide behavioral and cultural expectations
- Engage with families through regular communication about students' academic and social-emotional development
- Integrate technology into classroom instruction to enhance student learning
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-instructional school activities as required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional tasks assigned by school administration
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $48,000 - 57,500
