Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans, adapting them as needed throughout the academic year
- Adjust teaching strategies to address varied student learning needs and abilities
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic performance and growth
- Apply instructional methods grounded in educational research during daily teaching
- Enforce consistent classroom behavior management practices
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere
- Use approved curricula that acknowledges students' diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Support and uphold established school culture standards and behavioral expectations
- Engage with families through regular communication and meetings about student progress
- Integrate technology into instruction to enhance student learning experiences
- Assist in organizing and executing non-academic school activities when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow staff members through regular communication
- Complete additional tasks assigned by school leadership
