Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans with flexibility to adapt throughout the academic year
- Adjust teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs and abilities
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply instructional methods grounded in educational research and proven effectiveness
- Maintain appropriate student conduct and a structured classroom setting
- Foster an encouraging and respectful learning atmosphere
- Use curricula that acknowledge and reflect students' varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Enforce shared school standards for behavior and community values
- Engage with families to discuss student progress in both academic and social-emotional domains
- Integrate digital tools and technology into daily instruction to enhance student learning
- Support non-instructional school events and activities as required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff through clear communication
- Complete additional tasks as determined by school administration
Compensation
The salary range is $40,000 - $49,500. Starting pay may vary based on location, qualifications, education, experience, and other relevant factors.
