Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans, adapting them as needed throughout the academic year
- Adjust teaching methods to support learners with varied academic needs and abilities
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and developmental milestones
- Apply instructional techniques grounded in educational research to daily planning and teaching
- Oversee and guide student conduct to maintain a productive classroom atmosphere
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning environment for all students
- Use approved curricula that reflect students' diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Uphold established school-wide behavioral and cultural standards
- Engage with families to discuss student progress in both academic and social-emotional domains
- Integrate technology into classroom activities to enhance student learning
- Support the organization and execution of non-academic school events when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff through regular communication
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by school administration

- Capable of supervising students across age groups in various school environments such as playgrounds and cafeterias
- Required to pass both federal and state criminal background screenings
- Expected to handle confidential student and school information with discretion and professionalism
