Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans, adapting them as needed throughout the academic year
- Adjust teaching methods to support diverse learning needs of all students
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply evidence-based teaching strategies in daily planning and instruction
- Oversee and guide student behavior to maintain a productive classroom setting
- Foster an encouraging and inclusive learning environment
- Use approved curricula that reflect students' varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Enforce school-wide behavioral and cultural expectations
- Engage with families to discuss student academic and social-emotional progress
- Integrate technology into daily instruction to enhance student learning
- Support the organization of non-instructional school activities when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional duties as assigned by school administration
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $39,000 - $48,500. Starting pay may vary based on location, qualifications, education, experience, and other relevant factors.
