Nacar is looking for a Bookkeeper to maintain the integrity and efficiency of our financial operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring our financial records are accurate and up to date by managing daily transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting the finance team.
What You'll Do
- Record financial transactions accurately in the general ledger, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
- Manage incoming and outgoing payments, process invoices, and record receipts to maintain accurate cash flow.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between financial records and bank statements.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate employee salaries, benefits, and deductions.
- Assist in the preparation of sales tax returns, payroll tax filings, and other required tax documentation.
- Track and report company expenditures, ensuring accurate documentation and categorization.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions and receipts for audits and reporting.
- Collaborate with vendors and clients to resolve billing issues and payment inquiries.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Provide additional support to the finance team as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in English at C1 level.
- Minimum of 2 years in a bookkeeping or similar accounting role.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with payroll processing and tax filings.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effective teamwork.
- High school diploma required.
- Commitment to handling sensitive financial information responsibly.
Nice to Have
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in the healthcare or wellness industry.
- Familiarity with healthcare-related financial regulations and compliance.
- Experience with CRM or invoicing platforms such as Salesforce or Zoho.
