Responsibilities
- Develop and adapt lesson plans throughout the academic year as needed
- Adjust teaching methods to support diverse learning needs of all students
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply teaching strategies grounded in educational research during daily instruction
- Oversee and guide student conduct within the classroom setting
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere
- Use approved curricula that reflect students' varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Enforce established school-wide behavioral standards and cultural expectations
- Engage with families to discuss student academic and social-emotional development
- Integrate technology into classroom activities to enhance student learning
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-instructional school events when necessary
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators through clear communication and teamwork
- Complete additional tasks as directed by school administration
