Responsibilities
- Deliver curriculum aligned with state standards and organizational academic goals
- Master and teach grade-specific content, core objectives, and required texts
- Submit lesson plans two weeks ahead of time to receive feedback
- Use formal and informal assessments to monitor individual student growth and adapt instruction
- Update student grades weekly and adjust teaching strategies based on data
- Maintain weekly communication with students and families about academic progress
- Utilize technology effectively for instruction, communication, and task management
- Enforce a structured classroom behavior system that supports campus-wide expectations and builds community
- Contribute to a school culture that promotes energetic and purposeful learning
- Build respectful, trusting relationships with students and families rooted in cultural understanding
- Provide tutoring sessions as needed to support all learners
- Attend weekly check-ins, grade-level meetings, and school functions including before- and after-school duties
- Engage in continuous professional learning during summer and throughout the year
- Commit to a minimum of 40 on-site work hours weekly
- May be assigned additional duties such as after-school or weekend academic support based on student needs
Compensation
$64,000 starting salary for 0 years experience; eligible for stipends ($500–$4,000), performance-based pay, and additional hourly compensation for assigned tutoring or Saturday school

- Additional hourly compensation is provided for after-school tutoring or Saturday school as assigned
