Responsibilities
- Take ownership of Zuora Billing, including product catalog management, pricing, subscriptions, invoicing, and payment processes.
- Manage and resolve issues in the Salesforce–Zuora integration to maintain accurate data flow throughout the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
- Enhance billing operations through automation, process improvements, and data quality initiatives to minimize manual work.
- Collaborate closely with Finance to ensure billing accuracy, support revenue recognition, forecasting, and month-end closing activities.
- Act as the billing systems expert, solving complex problems and working with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Finance teams.
- Analyze billing data, monitor system performance, and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvements.
Requirements
- Practical experience with Zuora Billing, including product catalog management, SKU configuration, workflow automation, subscription amendments, and reporting.
- Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem, ideally with exposure to the Zuora for Salesforce connector or CPQ.
- Solid understanding of SaaS subscription billing concepts such as ARR, MRR, proration, amendments, and co-terming.
- Knowledge of quote-to-cash processes and the handoffs between Sales, Finance, and Systems.
- Analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders, from CFOs to Salesforce admins.
