At ZoomCare, our Clinic Associates are essential to delivering the Perfect Visit experience across our service lines, including Daily Care, Family Medicine, and Mental Health. You'll ensure a smooth, efficient, and respectful patient journey from scheduling to follow-up.
What You'll Do
- Check patients in and out for their appointments.
- Schedule new appointments as needed and process patient payments.
- Educate patients on navigating their ZoomCare medical record.
- Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
- Perform blood draws and finger sticks while adhering to all written laboratory standards.
- Process collected specimens and document results.
- Maintain supply inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing supplies.
- Work with and maintain basic medical equipment.
- Provide emergency care to patients when necessary.
- Support medical providers as needed.
- Ensure the clinic remains clean and neat.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1+ year of healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software.
- Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from a recognized organization or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.
- Ability to complete ZoomCare’s phlebotomy training program within six months of hire.
- Must be able to obtain a Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist license within 6 months of hire.
- Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), and TD/TDAP.
- Must be able to obtain a Medical Assistant - registered license within 1 month of hire.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Current licensure/certification as a Certified Medical Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, National Certified Medical Assistant Certification or prior experience as a Medical Assistant - Registered.
