About the Role

At ZoomCare, our Clinic Associates are essential to delivering the Perfect Visit experience across our service lines, including Daily Care, Family Medicine, and Mental Health. You'll ensure a smooth, efficient, and respectful patient journey from scheduling to follow-up.

What You'll Do

  • Check patients in and out for their appointments.
  • Schedule new appointments as needed and process patient payments.
  • Educate patients on navigating their ZoomCare medical record.
  • Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Perform blood draws and finger sticks while adhering to all written laboratory standards.
  • Process collected specimens and document results.
  • Maintain supply inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing supplies.
  • Work with and maintain basic medical equipment.
  • Provide emergency care to patients when necessary.
  • Support medical providers as needed.
  • Ensure the clinic remains clean and neat.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ year of healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software.
  • Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from a recognized organization or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.
  • Ability to complete ZoomCare’s phlebotomy training program within six months of hire.
  • Must be able to obtain a Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist license within 6 months of hire.
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), and TD/TDAP.
  • Must be able to obtain a Medical Assistant - registered license within 1 month of hire.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Current licensure/certification as a Certified Medical Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, National Certified Medical Assistant Certification or prior experience as a Medical Assistant - Registered.
