As the YouTube Channel Owner for the Spanish-speaking audience, you’ll take full ownership of content from concept to performance analysis. You’ll develop, script, and star in engaging educational videos—both long-form and Shorts—that resonate culturally and linguistically with Spanish speakers. Your role is central to shaping the channel’s direction, grounded in regional insights and audience behavior.
What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end production: ideate topics, write scripts, record content, publish, and analyze performance to continuously refine strategy
- Develop a localized content roadmap using keyword research, competitor analysis, and cultural context to drive relevance and growth
- Collaborate with freelance editors and writers, guiding visual and narrative elements to maintain quality and consistency
- Optimize metadata, thumbnails, and titles through A/B testing to improve click-through and retention rates
- Use performance data to identify trends, iterate on formats, and experiment with new storytelling techniques
- Contribute to quarterly planning and help evolve the channel from tutorials to a dynamic, human-centered learning experience
- Innovate with video structures, hooks, and formats to keep content fresh and engaging
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in content creation with on-camera experience, ideally on YouTube
- Native-level Spanish fluency with strong on-screen presence and storytelling ability
- Proven ability to interpret analytics and turn insights into content improvements
- Experience in video production, SEO, and script localization for Spanish-speaking markets
- Self-driven with strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines independently
- Familiarity with YouTube’s algorithm, retention metrics, and optimization practices
- Skilled at collaborating remotely with freelancers and cross-functional teams
- Ability to balance creative vision with performance data when advocating for content decisions
- Competence in conducting market research to uncover content gaps and audience needs
