Airbus Americas, Inc. was looking for a Working Party Manager (LAE B1/B2/C)

Lead and oversee technical working parties responsible for aircraft modifications and repairs at customer facilities, ensuring all work meets airworthiness standards and complies with EASA/FAR Part 145 regulations. As the on-site authority, you will coordinate team activities, verify facility readiness, and manage daily progress in alignment with customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise on-site operations, including preparation, safety assessments, and compliance verification with internal and regulatory standards
  • Assign tasks based on technical competency and monitor team performance across disciplines
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed within scheduled downtime and financial targets
  • Conduct incoming inspections of aircraft, tools, and components, and maintain oversight of material availability
  • Issue Certificates of Release to Service in accordance with regulatory and company procedures
  • Establish and maintain the Working Party documentation file, ensuring traceability and compliance
  • Lead major repair initiatives from assessment through to certification, minimizing turnaround time
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and third-party repair stations to secure qualified personnel
  • Document and negotiate any customer-requested scope changes formally and accurately
  • Support audits by airworthiness authorities and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics, compliance, and safety in all interactions and processes

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold a valid EASA Part 66 'C' and 'B1/B2' license with recent certification experience—either six consecutive months of maintenance work, 100 base maintenance days, or 180 line tasks within the past two years. A technical bachelor’s degree, BTS, or equivalent qualification is required, along with foundational aeronautical training.

Minimum of 15 years in the aerospace sector, including hands-on maintenance experience at Cat C and B1/B2 levels. Fluency in English—spoken, written, and read—is mandatory.

Preferred Background

  • Expertise in metallic structures
  • Training or operational experience on Airbus aircraft families
  • Specific experience with A380 or A350 models
  • Background in MRO environments under Part-145
  • Proven track record in planning and managing working parties
  • Proficiency with complex electronic data systems used in aircraft maintenance

Work Environment
