Strada is seeking a Workday Absence / Time Tracking Consultant to join our team. In this remote role, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring timely and quality execution of client deliverables. You will consult on Workday projects with a broad understanding of cross-functional touchpoints to develop effective solutions across multiple domains.
What You'll Do
- Consult with external clients through all stages of the Workday project lifecycle, from planning to deployment for HCM and/or Financials.
- Lead small to large client deliverables across multiple concurrent projects using Strada's quality standards and methodology.
- Integrate with other areas across Strada to provide complete solutions and consult on post-implementation impacts.
- Manage your own work and team member(s) work to project scope, timeline, risk, and budget.
- Listen to client requests, assess needs, provide expertise, propose alternatives, and recommend solutions.
- Articulate lessons learned, Workday best practices, and Strada's Point of View to clients.
- Proactively identify client trouble spots and recommend solutions.
- Contribute to internal resource development through mentoring, coaching, and directing work.
- Participate in or lead internal business initiatives to build our brand and collateral.
- Champion project methodology and best practices.
- Participate in the Workday ecosystem, contributing advanced thinking and sharing ideas.
- Architect solutions within specific areas while building broad-based expertise in the Workday product suite.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in your functional/technical area.
- Use strong presentation, communication, listening, and consultative skills to guide discussions.
- Participate in client sales meetings and assist with collateral creation.
- Create work estimates and solutions for small to large bodies of work.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or financial discipline or relevant field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of previous consulting experience implementing ERP systems like Workday, SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, ADP, or other SaaS solutions.
- Ability to be effectively engaged on multiple, parallel projects.
- Ability to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervision and demonstrate strong work ethics.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Sound analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Workday Certification is required. Non-certified candidates will need to successfully pass certification and ongoing re-certification.
- Current and future work authorization in your country of application, without the need for visa sponsorship.
Nice to Have
- Deep knowledge of specific domain(s), with Payroll as a preferred area.
- Workday Absence or Time Tracking Certification strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge in: Single domains like Core HCM/Comp, Payroll, Recruiting, Data Conversion, Integrations, Reporting; Pair domains like Core/Advanced Comp, Talent, Time Tracking, Absence, Learning, Benefits; or Multi-domain Financials pillars.
