NuScale Power is hiring a Work Planning & Execution Lead 3 to join our Supply Chain team. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Supply Chain and plays a key part in coordinating the day-to-day technical planning and execution of project work, interfacing directly with technical discipline managers and project teams.
What You'll Do
- Work with technical discipline managers and project teams to plan project work, develop detailed execution plans, and analyze critical paths.
- Support effective work execution by monitoring and measuring resource allocation and leveling.
- Interface with project teams on behalf of discipline managers for schedule updates, work planning, and inputs to project change orders.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and project teams to plan the implementation of approved design changes and project scopes.
- Provide updates on work status, functional area health, and risks via reports and presentations.
- Interface and coordinate with cross-functional teams to support execution of functional area work.
- Support the functional manager in preparing resource estimates and execution plans for new commercial projects.
- Support department-wide organizational and business process improvement and standardization initiatives.
- Write and review reports and maintain intra-department communication mechanisms.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/operations management, construction management, or business.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project-oriented work environment, preferably in energy services or nuclear industries.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering and/or manufacturing projects and terminology.
- Solid technical writing and presentation skills.
- Good communication, computer, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of scheduling software.
- Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Team & Environment
You will report to the Sr. Director, Supply Chain. The role involves close coordination with technical discipline managers, cross-functional teams, and various project teams.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position based in Houston, TX.
