Zones LLC is hiring a Work Planner to join the AMS team for vegetation management. You will work outdoors independently in a fast-paced environment, conducting safety audits, inspecting rights-of-way, and communicating directly with customers.
What You'll Do
- Conduct safety audits.
- Inspect rights-of-way (ROW) and easements for trim, removal, and chemical treatment requirements.
- Mark vegetation as required.
- Collect and report data required by Line Clearing contractors.
- Notify and communicate with customers as required.
- Travel occasionally, both day and overnight, as necessary.
- Drive a company vehicle safely to work locations.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum thirty (30) semester credits or forty-five (45) quarter credits towards a degree from an accredited college/university OR 2-3 years of UVM experience without a degree.
- Species and hazard tree identification skills, invasive species, and tree growth knowledge.
- Computer and communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards.
Nice to Have
- ISA or equivalent certification preferred, but not required.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
