Transdev is hiring a Maintenance Manager to lead the daily operations of a multi-shift maintenance facility. You will oversee mechanics, bus washers, utility workers, and administrative staff to ensure all equipment is maintained and inspected to meet DOT, client, and company standards.
What You'll Do
- Hire, train, and schedule Maintenance Technicians.
- Approve maintenance and repair priorities based on material availability and operational needs.
- Coordinate and oversee work performed by external vendors.
- Ensure company and client equipment operates efficiently.
- Manage parts and equipment inventory.
- Implement departmental safety policies per corporate requirements.
- Participate in developing and managing the operational budget.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery methods.
- Travel outside the immediate area <10% of the time.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy-duty automotive and transit equipment.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Broad understanding of all mechanical systems in heavy-duty transportation vehicles.
- Familiarity with laws and regulations governing safe maintenance facility operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
- Subject to a DOT drug test and physical exam, if applicable.
- Eligibility to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Nice to Have
- A valid CDL Class B (or higher) with passenger and airbrake endorsements.

- Compensation: $144,414.40 – $156,769.60
- Minimum of two (2) weeks vacation.
