About the Role

The role involves delivering hands-on technical support to internal users, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and ensuring smooth operation of IT infrastructure across desktop, mobile, and network environments.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, printers, and peripheral devices
  • Support and maintain company-issued laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
  • Manage user accounts and permissions across various systems and directories
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees including equipment setup
  • Troubleshoot local and remote connectivity issues
  • Deploy and configure operating systems and standard software packages
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and manage asset lifecycle
  • Provide support for video conferencing and meeting room technology
  • Respond to service desk tickets in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve support processes
  • Document technical procedures and solutions in knowledge base systems
  • Assist with implementation of security policies and endpoint protection
  • Support cloud-based applications including email, collaboration tools, and file storage
  • Handle basic networking tasks such as configuring switches and access points
  • Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level teams when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT standards and data protection guidelines
  • Work with vendors to resolve hardware warranty and service issues
  • Assist in managing identity and access management systems
  • Support macOS and Windows environments with equal proficiency
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance and incident response as needed

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting hybrid or remote work environments
  • Familiarity with Jamf or other Apple management tools
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for automation tasks
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and SaaS platforms
  • Background in supporting large-scale enterprise environments

Job Description: As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide hands-on technical support to Wix employees worldwide. We provide technical assistance and support to Wix employees regarding computers, servers, hardware, software, and events on a global scale. We take care of everything from configuration to control and maintenance, troubleshooting, and monitoring, using the newest technology for device management services, Ansible, and automation engines. We build fully automated processes for monitoring, purchasing, security incidences, SLM, CRM, etc. ***Expected base compensation salary range $80,000 - $100,000. In addition to base pay you will receive company RSUs as part of the compensation package.Final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including location the role is expected to be performed, shift, candidate profile and ideal qualifications.
