PEARCE was looking for a Wireline Field Technician

Pearce is seeking a dedicated Wireline Field Technician to join our team in maintaining and upgrading critical wireline telecommunications infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring network reliability through hands-on work, primarily in the Paso Robles, California area.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and repair wireline telecommunication infrastructure.
  • Perform equipment upgrades and proactive maintenance.
  • Travel to and work at remote job sites as required.
  • Ensure all work complies with FCC, FAA, EPA, and OSHA regulations.
  • Operate computers or tablets for daily reporting and communication.

What We're Looking For

  • Background in construction or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel for work, typically up to 5 days per week.
  • Ability to work long hours and overtime when necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional email use.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to comply with all applicable OSHA Standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds multiple times per day.

Nice to Have

  • Experience pouring concrete pads.
