About the Role
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems using .NET technologies, collaborating with German-speaking clients, and contributing to technical decision-making throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services using .NET and related frameworks
- Collaborate with German-speaking stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver solutions
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests for critical components
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments
- Work closely with frontend teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Contribute to architectural discussions and system design
- Ensure compliance with security best practices in software development
- Support deployment processes and CI/CD pipeline improvements
- Document technical designs and implementation details
- Mentor junior developers and support team knowledge sharing
- Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them where beneficial
- Participate in agile ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
Nice to Have
- Experience working with German clients or teams
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
- Exposure to frontend technologies such as JavaScript or Angular
- Certifications in .NET or cloud platforms
- Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka
