Jewelers Mutual Insurance is looking for a Wholesale Operational Readiness Support Lead to drive the evolution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) into a seamless, end-to-end quality engineering practice. You will be a key architect within the Wholesale Operational Readiness Centre (WORC), responsible for implementing technology changes, reviewing requirements, and ensuring successful deployment through robust testing, training, and documentation.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development and implementation of automation and automated testing frameworks using tools like TOSCA, Perfecto Scriptless, Co-Pilot, and QuerySurge.
- Partner with project teams and WORC to align testing and automation requirements with project goals.
- Collaborate to define testing automation for technology-based applications, following enterprise and industry best practices.
- Design and implement standards, tools, and methodologies to maintain the overall WORC Portfolio.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to ensure adherence to the bank’s quality processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in testing and automation, including collaboration with the bank’s Testing Centre of Excellence (TCOE).
- Develop and maintain an automated test scripts library.
- Contribute to the testing strategy for projects to align with changing delivery paradigms.
- Provide strategic input into WORC’s multi-year strategic planning.
- Establish design approaches and standards through research, evaluation, and proof-of-concept activities, ensuring quality via design and code review.
- Provide support for regional WORC teams.
- Lead human resource planning, development, and staff management for the automation team.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor or Master degree.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience with TOSCA (or similar tools) in banking and financial services.
- At least one year of experience with GenAI tools such as Co-Pilot.
- Strong knowledge of Python.
- Experience managing a medium-sized team (10 to 20 people) of automation engineers and test executors.
- Ability to take ownership of issues and proactively drive them to closure.
- Ability to collaborate with peers and work cross-functionally with testing personnel, developers, business analysts, system analysts, and product owners.
- Detail and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently within strict timeframes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective presentation abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in testing using Selenium, Appium, Perfecto Scriptless, QuerySurge, Postman API, and other tools.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Operations experience in areas like Cash, Trade, Loans, or Channels.
