What You'll Do
Shape and implement a unified quality strategy that spans embedded systems, physical hardware, and cloud-based applications. Establish clear benchmarks for product reliability and performance across the full stack—from edge devices to backend analytics.
Embed quality early in the development lifecycle by championing a 'Shift Left' approach, ensuring testing is integrated from initial design phases. Replace outdated manual workflows with a modern, scalable test automation framework that supports rapid iteration and deployment.
Lead the selection and refinement of automation tools, including Playwright, PyTest, Selenium, and Appium, and ensure seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions. Guarantee every code commit is validated for both software logic and hardware compatibility, with automated deployment to physical devices.
Apply AI-driven techniques to accelerate test creation and execution. Collaborate closely with Hardware Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to align quality milestones with manufacturing schedules and agile sprints. Define and monitor KPIs such as bug leakage, test coverage, and MTBF to measure system resilience.
Deliver clear, data-driven reports to executive leadership, translating technical findings into business risk and performance insights. Build consistent review rhythms and elevate operational discipline across QA teams.
