About the Role

Nearmap is looking for an Administrative Finance Clerk to join the Western Growers Family of Companies team. Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, you will be responsible for processing mail, managing SharePoint intake, and providing backup support for finance functions. This role is central to supporting our mission to enhance the competitiveness and profitability of our members.

What You'll Do

  • Receive, sort, and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail, overnight deliveries, and checks.
  • Process returned mail and incoming invoices, obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Manage SharePoint intake for the Finance Administration team, assigning cases to the appropriate specialist.
  • Decipher between Western Growers Assurance Trust and Pinnacle Claims Management, Inc. for task assignment.
  • Provide backup support for applying cash, posting payments, performing bank audits, and posting manual adjustments.
  • Order and distribute supplies for the Administration Finance team.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Administration and assist in finance-related projects.
  • Support clerical overflow for various operational teams as needed.
  • Maintain and manage departmental logs.
  • Monitor department email inbox and assign tasks via SharePoint.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and suggest solutions to save time, reduce risk, or reduce expenses.
  • Create and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

What We're Looking For

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, multi-task, and work under pressure and deadlines.
  • Moderate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to develop proficiency working with a proprietary Health Care system.
  • Excellent customer service experience providing support to all levels within and outside the organization.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including modern business communications and phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift to 40 pounds.

Nice to Have

  • One (1) year of administrative support or office experience.
  • General knowledge of health insurance operations and industry.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary range: $35,288.33 - $50,874.31
  • Rich benefits package that includes profit-sharing
