The Hartford is hiring a Web Manager responsible for the hands-on deployment and maintenance of content on thehartford.com. In this role, you will ensure our digital presence meets high standards while collaborating across teams to execute larger web projects.

What You'll Do

Manage hands-on content deployment and maintenance on thehartford.com and related company websites
Input and manage text, images, and other assets using The Hartford’s Content Management System
Oversee QA testing of site content
Monitor and support web standards for content presentation, writing style, metadata, spelling, and accessibility
Maintain quality and brand standards for all website content
Participate in developing and implementing process improvements by analyzing requirements and documenting procedures
Meet with clients and team members to understand business objectives and develop plans to accomplish marketing goals
Develop comprehensive project plans to share with clients and team members
Report project status, send detailed meeting notes, and track performance to manage expectations and goal completion

What We're Looking For

2+ years managing content on corporate-level websites
Basic knowledge of HTML
Experience using a robust Content Management System
Experience managing a website, ideally corporate sites in the financial services industry
Advanced time management and analytical skills with ability to manage a range of deadlines
Project leadership capabilities, initiative, and a results-driven approach
Ability to build strong relationships and influence course of action in a highly matrixed environment
Excellent client-facing communication skills, including effective listening
Solid copy-editing skills and attention to detail
