FE fundinfo is hiring a Web Data Collection Analyst for a 6-month contract role. You will be responsible for automating the collection and onward processing of investment fund data. Your work will involve coding, configuring, and maintaining website data extraction software to ensure optimal performance and data coverage.
What You'll Do
- Automate the collection and onward processing of investment fund data using a range of software platforms.
- Code, configure, and maintain website data extraction software for optimal performance and coverage.
- Apply expertise in JavaScript, jQuery, RegEx, CSS, and HTML to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the UK, Europe, and India to improve data coverage in target markets.
- Adhere to all general security responsibilities outlined in company policy.
What We're Looking For
- High proficiency in building reliable web scrapers.
- Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, RegEx, CSS, and HTML.
- Hands-on experience coding and configuring software for website data extraction.
- Self-motivated with great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fluent in English and comfortable communicating across both technical and non-technical teams.
