TaxValet is looking for a Web Content Manager to lead website strategy and digital content initiatives for The Steve Fund. In this role, you will manage, develop, and optimize website content to increase engagement, improve accessibility, and strengthen the organization's digital presence.
What You'll Do
- Lead content creation, editing, and management for The Steve Fund website to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with messaging and goals.
- Manage ongoing updates to web pages, troubleshoot website issues, and regularly monitor site performance.
- Implement SEO strategies to enhance search rankings, increase organic traffic, and improve user experience.
- Monitor site analytics and generate monthly reports to track progress and optimize content.
- Collaborate with designers to enhance site visuals and user interface.
- Ensure the site is intuitive, accessible, and engaging for diverse audiences.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to support campaign launches, program updates, and marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with the Director of Communication and Marketing and other departments to ensure website content aligns with organizational priorities.
- Ensure the website adheres to web accessibility standards (WCAG) and data protection regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital marketing, web design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing websites and digital content for a mission-driven organization or similar.
- Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress), HTML, CSS, and familiarity with web design principles.
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and accessibility standards is essential.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences.
- Passion for The Steve Fund's mission and a commitment to advancing mental health support for young people of color.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.

- Salary: $75,000-$85,000 USD
