Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, or a related field, along with 7–10 years of relevant experience in financial advising, portfolio management, or tax planning. A Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is required; alternatives such as ChFC, PFS, CFA, or CIC may be accepted. The Series 65 license is mandatory unless exempt under state rules.
Proficiency in financial planning software is essential, as is a strong grasp of economic trends and their impact on investment strategies. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are critical for conveying complex topics effectively.
