McLane Company is looking for a Warehouse Specialist I to join our distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for selecting product, loading trucks, and moving product within the warehouse environment, which may include working in Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, and Freezer areas.
What You'll Do
- Select product and load trucks, moving product between the loading dock and the warehouse.
- Work in various warehouse areas such as Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer, and others.
- Review documents and record information, verifying quantity, identity, availability, and product condition.
- Operate a reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product.
- Hand-stack product on occasion when items are off balance or misplaced.
- Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
- Clean your work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You can perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift 50 pounds or more.
- You can read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job tasks effectively and safely.
Nice to Have
- At least 1 year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.

- Compensation: $21.25 per hour during training, moving to $25.50 per hour at 100% production, with potential additional pay incentives.
